moral and ethical education

GW has delivered talks on moral and spiritual values to a small group of youth. The insite into the social, economic and governance problems was impressive. Their inability to feel optimistic about the future was due to a feeling of powerlessness, which was understandable and disappointing. We financed a trained teacher to give similar talks at the village school for two weeks. The headmaster was astonished at the transformation in the children. We have therefore decided to channel money into the provision of a full time teacher for six months. We will carry out before, after and delayed assessments and hopefully present the findings to potential donors.

We have also decided to finance nurse training courses for 6 girls and for two medical students. GW will visit in October to select the children with the help of the Headmaster.
